Selling Tips: Staging on a Budget:
The first step to selling your home is pricing it correctly. The second step is staging. By devoting a little time and money into your house, you can make it stand out from the competition. Here are a few tricks of the trade I would like to share.
· Expand the closet Potential buyers love extra storage space. Maximize your closets by removing rarely used items and clothes.
· B.Y.O.B. Take your moving boxes and arrange them into the shape of a bed, then dress them with clean crisp bedding. The look will amaze you and your potential buyers.
· Light it up! Replace light bulbs with higher wattage bulbs. It is an easy way to get the “light and bright” feeling buyers are looking for.
· Put down the lid Close all the drains, toilet lids & closet doors. For added effect open blinds to let the sun in. The results are instant and even better...FREE!
